Hadron Energy Announces Second Location In New York City
We are thrilled to announce a major milestone in Hadron Energy’s journey: The opening of our second location in New York City!
This expansion follows a transformative year of microreactor development progress and strategic partnerships. Establishing a presence on the East Coast places us closer to federal and state policymakers, regulatory agencies, and leading financial institutions. It positions Hadron Energy for the next phase of growth and deployment.
Hadron Energy’s engineering headquarters will remain in the Bay Area, while our new bi-coastal footprint amplifies Hadron’s reach and reinforces our mission: To bring 24/7 carbon-free power to critical infrastructure across the country.

Why New York City?
New York is becoming a hub for advanced nuclear power. Our decision to expand here reflects its unmatched access to:
• Federal and state energy decision-makers
• Leading investors and financial networks
• Industry collaborators advancing clean energy and grid resilience
The Nuclear Renaissance In New York
Statewide policy shift toward advanced nuclear: On June 23, 2025, Governor Kathy Hochul tasked the New York Power Authority (NYPA) with developing at least one gigawatt of advanced nuclear capacity in upstate New York. This represents the state’s first such action in decades and signals nuclear's return as a cornerstone of its clean energy strategy Utility Dive.
Broad political and economic support: This move has been backed by labor unions, industry leaders, and state officials. The Utility Workers Union (UWUA) and Constellation Energy have praised the initiative for its potential to support grid reliability, industrial growth, and thousands of union jobs across the state Times Union.
Advanced reactor promise: The plan centers not on legacy reactors but on next‑generation designs (Gen III+, IV) engineered for improved safety, modularity, and cost reduction. Analysts highlight the potential for a scalable “fleet-style” deployment using multiple standardized units for cost efficiency and speed Utility Dive.

What's Next?
This new chapter enables us to grow our team, strengthen regulatory engagement, and accelerate deployment of our 10 MWe microreactors across the United States. Hadron Energy is building more than a reactor, we are laying the foundation for a resilient, carbon-free future.
