Nuclear Energy - A New Era

The world’s energy demands are growing at an increasing rate. With massive shifts towards battery technology and grid usage, our dated infrastructure cannot handle the new demand. For example, by 2030 Data Centers will account for 10% of energy consumption alone.

With massive draws from the grid where will all of this energy come from?

Shifting to renewables is an exciting movement as it is a viable solution to our Net Zero goals by 2050. However, there are many challenges that are presented in achieving this goal. For purposes of this letter, we will examine the use case of data center growth by 2030:

‍

It certainly would not be feasible to power Data Centers with solar panels which are only available 10-25% of the time due to sun patterns.

Similarly, wind would not be feasible given it’s land requirements and availableness of 25% due to weather patterns.

Nuclear Energy on the other hand, produces energy more than 90% of the time regardless of outside conditions. This would make energy cheaper for it’s end users while also being more reliable.

Hadron Energy is developing Micro Reactors that are transportable, modular, and scalable for many applications particularly data centers. Since starting in July 2024, we have developed a diverse investor network and grew our presence significantly.
